Mike Meadows
CSM Electrician Student
Mike Meadows and his brother, James, own a business specializing in residential and light commercial electrical work. They count on the College of Southern Maryland to provide them with the courses they need to hone their skills and increase their knowledge in construction and mechanical trades. Both have prepared for the master electrician exam at CSM and they encourage their employees to do the same.
“The difference between learning on the job and learning in a classroom,” Mike said, “is the difference between learning how to do something versus learning why things are done.”
Evening classes are convenient for Mike to attend after a long day on the job, and as his company continues to grow he will be taking more business and finance classes to help him excel in the administrative side of business.
Mike is plugged into the benefits of continuing his education and CSM is proud to be a part of his story.
