Lauren Duncan, one of 530 students in North Point High School's first graduating class (2009), is extremely excited about what the future holds for her.
“The decision for me to enroll at CSM was a family decision. Of course, my parents are very happy that I'll be able to complete my first two years of college debt free, and my dad is impressed with CSM from comments from colleagues at Andrews Air Force base. My mom has even taken classes at CSM and loved it. Many of my friends are going directly to four-year schools, but at CSM, I will get a great education. I am so excited to get started,” said Lauren.
At first Lauren was hoping to pursue a degree in Marine Biology. Now, upon entering her sophomore year at CSM, Lauren has decided on pursuing a degree in the medical profession. After earning her associate's degree, she wants to continue her education at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. Lauren currently resides in Waldorf, Maryland with her parents Jim and Carolyn and her younger brother Cameron.
