Teaching at CSM gives Andrew Wodzianski, associate professor and coordinator of arts at the Prince Frederick and Leonardtown campuses, the " best of both worlds," as he can have an impact on future artists while living in and participating in Washington, D.C.' s, art scene.

Wodzianski literally lived in the art scene recently when he resided in a storefront window on U Street in NW, D.C., as part of a living, breathing art exhibit called " Pop-Up Living."

"I try and lead through example,"said Wodzianski, a nationally exhibiting artist showcasing his work up and down the East Coast. " If I can get students energized into producing artwork then it feeds directly back into me and I'll become energized off of their excitement. I feel like I've made some type of lasting impression."

At CSM, Wodzianski said he is "proud to instruct foundation level art courses that rival the quality of those found in our country's top art schools, doing so at a fraction of the cost."
